At Acts 2:42 children's ministry our primary goal Is to teach our youth straight from the word of God on their own level of understanding. Also we wish to act as the hands and feet of Jesus and serve them and teach them about God's love in sending His only son as a sacrifice for our sins.

Our nursery handles children from 8 weeks old to the age of 8. Our nursery is staffed with a minimum of two volunteers who pass a national and a statewide child abuse registry check, as well as a statewide criminal background check. Our volunteers also have to pass an online child abuse awareness course.

Kids church starts with prayer time with the children then we do our Bible lesson which includes a memory verse that coincides with the days lesson. There is a prize bag filled with prizes for memorizing the verse. Then we typically do 1-2 crafts and activities till church service is over.

I grew up in a Christian school environment. The teachers and staff who faithfully served the Lord and ministered unto us children made a lasting impact in my life. I also wish to serve the Lord and serve the children at Acts 2:42. It is my hope and prayers that the children who come through our doors will come to know Jesus who is the Christ as their personal Lord and savior.
